A day-use bathhouse in Yuza, on the Yamagata coast, with a large indoor bath, a jet bath, an open-air bath and a sauna. Visitors describe two different waters: a brownish indoor bath and a slightly cloudy, quite salty open-air bath. There is a big tatami hall for resting afterwards, and a restaurant in the neighboring building run by the same operator. It is a small, local place, used by people from the town and by hikers coming down from Mt. Chokai, rather than a destination.
