Higaki Hotel draws its own hot-spring water, Shoko-no-yu (曙光の湯), which is lightly salty. The open-air bath looks over Mikawa Bay, with even the washing area outdoors, and an indoor bath done up in a rococo style adds a sauna and a cold plunge. Day-use bathing is available without staying the night. The hotel has an easygoing, family feel: upper rooms share the same bay view, the dining hall serves local seafood and tempura, and guests get a free drink lounge with snacks and, in the evening, wine.
