Kagasuke sits at Oshuku Onsen in Iwate, along a clear mountain stream with hills behind the rooms. Bathing is on the sixth floor, a marble bath with a sauna and a separate Japanese-style bath, swapped between men and women each day. The onsen water runs kakenagashi, drawn straight from the source, though there's no open-air bath here. Guest rooms have showers only, not tubs, so the sixth-floor baths are where everyone actually soaks. It runs as an all-inclusive inn, and some river-side rooms were updated in 2025.
