Tattoos are welcome if covered with the facility's cover sticker (about 10 x 15 cm), which allows both the indoor and outdoor areas. Larger tattoos may still use the outdoor-only areas if covered with a rash guard or similar wrap.

The Beach Tower Okinawa is a resort hotel on the beach in Chatan, near American Village, with an attached bathing complex called Terme VILLA Churayu. Its open-air bath runs on real source water kept flowing fresh, next to a separate reboiled indoor bath and a high-temperature sauna, with a cooler outdoor sauna in the swimwear pool area. Baths are split by gender, with no mixed bathing. The pool side includes a shallow pool facing the East China Sea and a healing pool that stays open year round among subtropical plants, while the other pools close for winter. A tatami lounge is there for resting after a soak. A working natural hot spring is unusual for a beach hotel on this coast.
