Joban Sauna is a sauna-only facility, so there is no hot spring water here. It has two sauna rooms, one wood-fired and one electric, plus a cold bath you lie down in and a rooftop area for cooling off. A river runs right next to it, and the setting is forest and mountains. Swimwear is worn. Tattoos are fine, and the place is generally for high school age and over. It opened in December 2025 on the grounds of a campsite in Tono, in the hills of Iwaki. The wood-fired sauna is usually the weekend and holiday room, and the electric one carries the weekdays. Visitors who came in winter mention a warm changing room and poncho rental for sitting outside.
