About

Benibana Onsen Hina no Yu is an everyday bathhouse in Kahoku, Yamagata, with a small inn and a restaurant attached. The baths are all indoors: a regular tub, a hotter one, a lying-down bath and a jet bath, plus a sauna and a cold plunge. There is no rotenburo. The water is slightly greenish and soft, and leaves the skin feeling moist. The place is kept clean and gets busy with locals, and there is a large tatami rest hall for a longer stay.
