Miizumi Onsen Yoshinoyu

Miizumi Onsen Yoshinoyu is a small day-use bath tucked behind a swimming club in Sagae, sharing its entrance with the swim school next door. Inside there are just two baths, one indoor and one open-air, with four wash stations between them. The water runs cloudy with a light iron tint and is kept on the mild side rather than hot, so it's easy to stay in for a while. There's also a spot on site to get something to eat. Jazz plays quietly in the lobby and drifts faintly over the open-air tub, which looks out over a small garden. It's an odd touch that regulars seem to like. It feels more like a hideaway than a proper bathhouse, easy to walk past if you don't already know the swim school's sign is hiding it.
