About

Hanakomaso is a small public day-use bath (higaeri nyuyoku, 日帰り入浴) in Tendo, filled with Tendo onsen water. The men's and women's baths each have two indoor tubs, one milder and one hotter, and a row of washing stations stocked with body soap and rinse-in shampoo. There is no sauna. Two private baths are set aside mainly for people who need assistance, disabled bathers and families with small children, and there is a rest lounge for after the bath, plus rest rooms that are charged by the hour. The building is fairly new and clean, and it is a regular spot for locals, so it can get crowded.
