Kishigon Ryokan

Kishigon Ryokan sits on Ikaho's stone steps and spreads its bathing across several separate baths rather than one hall. Gonzaemon-no-yu, a detached open-air bath, is kept simple with no shower or wash area. The main indoor bath, Rokuzaemon-no-yu, has glass walls facing the Mikuni and Tanigawa mountains, plus an open-air section and a mist sauna. A first-floor hall bath, Matazaemon-no-yu, is currently running on an alternating men's and women's schedule while it's under renovation. Guests can also book one of three private baths, Akagi, Ikaho and Fuchina. The water is Ikaho's amber "golden" spring, run straight from the source with nothing added and nothing recirculated. There's a small foot bath by the entrance, right on the stone steps.
