Tsukubasan Onsen Tsukuba no Yu

This is the only day-use hot spring facility on Mt. Tsukuba, with a large indoor bath and an open-air bath set among trees on the mountainside. The water is an alkaline simple spring, smooth and gentle on the skin. There's also a sauna with self-loyly steam kept mild rather than scorching, paired with an unchilled cold bath meant to ease first-timers in. For more privacy, a separate rotenburo can be rented by the hour for a group or a couple. A small restaurant and a lounge for after the bath round out the facility.
