Nibukawa Onsen Nibukawa Seseragi Koryukan

Nibukawa Seseragi Koryukan is a day-use bathhouse run by the city of Imabari for local residents and visitors. The spring water is clear and odorless, and famously smooth on the skin, long known locally as bijin-no-yu (美人の湯), water said to be kind to the skin. The main bathing hall has an indoor tub, a jacuzzi bath, an open-air rotenburo with a waterfall shower called utaseyu (うたせ湯), a sauna and a cold plunge, plus a wooden deck where you can sit in the open air by the outdoor bath and listen to the stream. There is also an outdoor tent sauna you can reserve separately, with an evening session too. The building was redone at the end of 2019 in a Showa-retro (昭和レトロ) style, and the lobby and shop now sell nostalgic snacks and local produce alongside a small lunch counter. It sits right next to the clear water of Nibukawa gorge.
