A free, unstaffed open-air bath (rotenburo) beside a mountain stream, next to a rest house in Mutsu. You soak while looking out over the water. Men and women use it in separate time slots rather than together, so check the schedule before you go. There are no washing facilities, so it is a place for soaking only, and the water tends to run on the lukewarm side. Parking is free.
