Arima Royal Hotel

Arima Royal Hotel stands in the middle of Arima's onsen town, with bathing split across two floors. The ground floor has a large indoor bath with two temperatures and an electric bath, plus an open-air bath filled with kinsen (金泉), the rust colored, iron rich onsen water the town is known for. A fifth floor rooftop bath adds a view and a smooth microbubble soak, but it runs on treated ordinary water rather than the spring. The two sides swap between men and women through the day, and some guest rooms add their own half-open-air bath, though the hotel is upfront that those run on plain water too, not the onsen. One guest room type also comes with its own ganbanyoku (岩盤浴), a heated-stone sauna.
