Day Use
YesOn Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays the indoor bath's day-use hours are shortened, closing at 14:00 (the outdoor bath keeps its usual 10:00 to 23:00 hours). Hours may also be shortened on days when the baths are cleaned.
Bath-only entry is about ¥600 (¥400 for JAF members). A reservation-based lunch and bathing plan (11:00-14:30, private tatami room, meal included) runs about ¥2,550-4,550 per person. The private family baths at Yunokura are separate, ¥1,700 per room for 50 minutes.

Seiryuso sits on the bank of the Hasama river in Kikuchi Onsen, an old wooden inn tucked among the trees. It has two indoor baths and two hand-built outdoor baths overlooking the river valley, one of them, Hotaru-no-yu (蛍の湯), built by a parent and child over two years. The indoor and outdoor baths are gender-separated, with the two sides swapping by day. The spring water is kept flowing fresh (kakenagashi), smooth and silky on the skin, the kind you end up soaking in longer than you meant to. A separate annex, Yunokura (湯の倉), holds a dozen small private baths, rock, hinoki, and stone, taken in 50-minute turns on a first-come basis; they're popular with families with kids. There's also a foot bath, and day visitors can book a set lunch with a private room built around a long soak.
