Oogiya is a ryokan at Furuyu Onsen, with separate indoor baths for men and women fed by kakenagashi spring water. There is no rotenburo and no private baths, but the baths are floored in tatami, the only such bath in Furuyu Onsen, so you stand on soft, warm matting instead of tile. The main tub holds the mild nuruyu Furuyu Onsen is known for, close to body temperature and smooth on the skin, so long soaks come easy, and a second, heated tub is a little hotter. Guest rooms have their own bath and toilet, though the water there is not from the spring. Day use is possible, but on an irregular schedule, so it is worth calling ahead.
