Ryokan Toyotomi sits alone at the far end of Harazuru Onsen (原鶴温泉), a small inn with its own on-site spring and six ways to soak in it. The water, smooth and slightly slippery on the skin, runs kakenagashi through every bath. The standout is a private cave bath hewn from a single slab of rock quarried in Hita, spacious enough for a group. There are also two other private baths (a hinoki tub and a stone goemon-style tub), gender-separated rotenburo in a Japanese garden, and an indoor public bath with windows looking out over the Chikugo River. Two rooms added in 2023 have in-room onsen baths as well. Day use is available.
