Sansuirou is a ryokan in the hills above Yugawara, drawing its onsen water from a spring on its own grounds. Its rooftop open-air bath looks out over the Hakone mountains, paired with a large indoor bath and a glass-walled Finnish sauna, plus a cold plunge and chairs for resting between rounds. The rooftop bath and sauna are not mixed bathing; men and women switch on a fixed schedule that alternates by day. Rooms in the Juraku-dai (聚楽第) category also come with their own onsen open-air bath.
