Day Use
YesThe day-use bath has occasional closing days, and the hotel's own pages differ on when, so it's worth calling ahead to check. Last entry is 20:30, 30 minutes before closing.
Adult day-use bathing is 550 yen, or 400 yen on weekdays after 17:00; children from age 3 through elementary school are 300 yen. A rental bath towel is 200 yen and a face towel is 200 yen.

Nanpeidai Onsen Hotel draws on its own hot-spring source, and the water has a soft, silky feel. The rooftop open-air bath looks out over the Nasu and Nikko mountains and the Naka River, and there's an indoor bath as well. Staying guests can also book the rooftop bath as a private soak late in the evening. Across the road, the hotel runs a separate day-use bathhouse with its own hours, and there's a spot where you can drink the spring water.
