About

Haginoyu (はぎ乃湯) is the bath of the Hagi-en (はぎ苑) inn on the north side of Nagai, and it takes day visitors too (higaeri nyuyoku, 日帰り入浴). There is one indoor bath and two open-air baths, one of them a large rock bath. The water is source water used undiluted, and reviewers describe it as clear and brownish to yellow, a little silky. Hot-stone bathing (ganbanyoku, 岩盤浴) is available separately, and there is a dining hall on site. Parking is large, and the retro-styled entrance with its shop and barber makes it feel like an old-fashioned local bathhouse.
