YesIf Monday falls on a public holiday, the bathhouse closes the following day instead. Last entry is 20:30.
A single visit is 500 yen for adults and 250 yen for children (elementary/junior high). A 12-visit ticket book costs 4,000 yen, and a one-month pass is 4,500 yen for adults, 3,000 yen for high schoolers, and 2,000 yen for elementary/junior-high students.

This is an old-fashioned public bathhouse at the entrance to Mimata Onsen, busy with local visitors in the evening. Inside there is one indoor bath and three showers, nothing more. The alkaline spring water is known locally for how smooth and slightly slippery it feels on the skin, and it tends to run on the lukewarm side, so people settle in for a long soak. After bathing, you can grab a bottle from an old-style milk vending machine in the lobby, stocked by a local dairy, a small ritual regulars still keep up.
