The outdoor bath, the only one in Mimata onsen, faces a waterfall, and the water is known for a smooth, silky feel, closer to a skincare lotion than plain hot water. There's also an indoor bath and a reservation-only private bath for overnight guests. The ryokan sits beside the Mimata river in a quiet hot-spring valley in western Shimane and reopened after a renewal in April 2024.
