Yayoiyu is the smallest and mildest of Arifuku Onsen's three communal bathhouses. The indoor bath sits below street level, down a stairway from a narrow changing room. There is no shower, just two tap-and-basin washing spots, with shampoo and body soap provided. Arifuku Onsen's water runs clear and colorless and feels smooth on the skin. Locals favor it for running cooler than the other two, and it makes an easy pick for families bathing with kids.
