YesBathing hours are 10:00 to 21:00 (last entry 20:30) for most of the year. In winter (November 1 to March 31) they shorten to 15:00 to 20:00 on weekdays and 10:00 to 20:00 on weekends, with last entry 30 minutes before closing. Closed on New Year's Day; other irregular closures are announced by phone.
Maniwa City residents pay a discounted rate, 400 yen for adults and 200 yen for children instead of the standard 800/400 yen. A 12-visit ticket book is also sold: 8,000 yen for adults and 4,000 yen for children, or 4,000 yen and 2,000 yen for residents.

Himawari-kan is a day-use bathing facility in the Yubara onsen area of Okayama. The bath is outdoors only, split by gender, each side built from stone and roughly 20 square meters, with a roofed corner that keeps it open even in the rain. The water runs clear and feels soft and a little slick on the skin. Around the bath, the building holds a restaurant with handmade soba noodles and game dishes, a tatami rest area with massage chairs, a kids corner, and a shop selling local honey and craft beer. There are also three private outdoor baths just for dogs and cats, with the water level adjusted to the animal and changed between visits, a rare thing to see at a bathing facility.
