Day Use
YesLast entry for day-use bathing is 22:00, even though the baths stay open until midnight. The reservation-only bath-plus-dinner-buffet plan serves dinner from 17:00 to 21:30, with bathing open from 15:00 to midnight.
Towel rental for bath-only day use is a separate 330 yen (not included), and children under 3 bathe free. A separate reservation-only bath-plus-dinner-buffet plan is also available, from about 3,600 yen for an adult on a weekday up to 6,200 yen on a peak day, with towels included.

Terunoyu is a hot spring hotel on the riverside in Yubara (湯原), part of the Oedo Onsen Monogatari group. Bathing includes a garden-style outdoor bath plus two indoor baths that alternate between the men's and women's side on a schedule, and some guest rooms have their own open-air bath fed by natural hot spring water. The building shows its age but has had renovation work done, and there is a restaurant serving buffet dinner and breakfast plus a karaoke room. Day-trip bathing needs no reservation, and day visitors can also book a bath-plus-dinner-buffet plan in advance.
