Kyukamura Setouchi-Toyo is a public vacation lodge on a hill above the coast in Saijo, Ehime. The indoor bath looks out through a wide window over the Seto Inland Sea, with Mount Ishizuchi visible on a clear day, and the open-air baths carry the same view further: the men's side faces the coast and the mountain, the women's side looks toward the scattered islands offshore. There's a sauna as well, though no cold plunge to go with it. The water is piped in and branded on site as Hiuchinada Onsen (ひうちなだ温泉), soft on the skin and known locally as a beauty-skin spring. Day-use bathing is available too. The lodge itself keeps things casual rather than upscale, with a seafood-focused buffet dinner and a dining room set up for families, kids' tableware and high chairs included.
