Seiryusen is a straightforward day-use bathhouse in Kawatana, closer to a sento than a resort. The main bath room has an electric bath, a wet sauna, a cold plunge and a small open-air bath, and upstairs there are four private family baths sold as same-day walk-ins rather than by reservation. The spring water tastes faintly salty. The open-air bath is enclosed rather than scenic, so this is a plain, everyday soak more than a view spot, and it draws a mostly local crowd.
