About

A day-use onsen next to Tokurako (徳良湖) lake in Obanazawa, named after the hanagasa (花笠), the fan dance Yamagata is known for. The outdoor rock bath looks out over the lake, and the water has a soft, smooth feel on the skin. There is also a sauna, a cold bath, and a private family bath. An on-site soba restaurant, Benibana-an (べにばな庵), is open for lunch and early dinner.
