Day Use
YesDay-use hours are seasonal: 6:00 to 21:00 from April to October, 6:30 to 21:00 from November to March. Last entry is always 20:30.
Adult admission is 750 yen, child 400 yen, and 500 yen for disability certificate holders (holder only). A bath towel can be rented for 330 yen; a hand towel is available to buy for 220 yen.

About
This day-use hot-spring bath is part of Shimanto no Yado (四万十の宿), a 30-room ryokan at the mouth of the Shimanto River, and draws local regulars as much as overnight guests. Indoors are two tubs, a plain hot-spring bath and a yakuyu (薬湯) medicinal bath, plus a sauna and cold plunge, kept separate for men and women. The outdoor bath is filled with seawater, genuinely salty against the skin. The spring water itself has a light, smooth feel that leaves you thoroughly warmed. Guests can also use the bath as many times as they like during their stay, and the inn's restaurant serves dishes built on mountain, river and sea ingredients from the Shimanto area.
