MountainsA day-use onsen in Nanto with an outdoor rock bath and an indoor bath. The rotenburo (露天風呂) looks out over Kurikara and Hodatsu mountains, the view shifting through the seasons. The water runs fresh without recirculation (kakenagashi, 源泉かけ流し) and leaves skin noticeably smooth. After bathing, a tatami rest hall is available, and the restaurant on site serves local food including iwana (river char).

Use It Wrong
Visited this place today: https://www.nukumori-nanto.jp/hotspring Tattoo-friendly. Inside there's one large bath and outside a fairly impressive-sized outdoor bath. It was nice, but the lack of a sauna already feels like something unforgivable. 650 yen. Not sure I'd want to go there again.
