About
Chocotto Yokayu is a small day-use bathhouse run as a sister annex to Unzen Yokayu (よか湯), a day-use bath and self-catering inn, a little way outside the main part of Unzen's hot-spring town. It draws its own hot-spring source, kept flowing through a compact bath split by gender, plus two reservable family baths for a private soak. There's no lodging here, just the baths, in a new building with a wood-scented changing room. It has an easygoing, at-home feel, quieter than the bigger baths nearby, and the water leaves skin feeling smooth after even a short soak.
