Day Use
YesClosed on the third Monday of each month (the next day instead if that's a public holiday), and sometimes closed temporarily for equipment maintenance. Last entry is 30 minutes before closing.
The adult day-use price already includes bathing tax. A bath towel isn't included, but you can rent one for 200 yen. Alongside regular multi-visit ticket books, discounted ones are available for elderly or disabled residents of the town.

About
Himawari Onsen Yurara is a public inn in Nakayama that also takes day visitors just for the baths. The outdoor bath skips a roof altogether: two small tubs, room for one person each, looking out toward Gassan and Hayama. The water is warming, with a faint tea color, and is known for leaving skin feeling smooth. Indoors there's a large bath with a hot sauna and a jet bath, and a free footbath, hand bath and face bath sit in the plaza outside. Beyond the baths it runs as an actual inn, with guest rooms, a restaurant serving kaiseki courses made with local Tsuyahime rice, and a banquet hall for groups.
