YesClosed Wednesdays, except open daily from 1 December to the end of March. In winter on Wednesdays only, opening is at 13:00. Until mid-December, opens at 10:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays; otherwise 12:00. Last entry 20:00.
Adult 600 yen, elementary school children 300 yen, free before school age. Elementary school children are free on Sundays and holidays until mid-December. Rental towel set (bath towel and face towel) 300 yen.

About
Shinsen-no-yu is a small day-use bath in Echigo-Yuzawa onsen. There is one indoor bath each for men and women, with eight washing stations, and no open-air bath. The spring water is undiluted and runs kakenagashi (fresh, not recirculated). Body soap and rinse-in shampoo are provided, towels can be rented, and a six-tatami raised area is open as a free rest spot. Simple overnight stays are also possible by reservation.
