YesLast entry for day-use bathing is 20:30. From 16:00 to 19:00, overnight guests get priority, so day visitors may be turned away if the inn is busy. Beyond its regular closing day, the inn also closes fully on a handful of extra days through the year, announced on its website as they come up.
700 yen for adults (junior-high age and up) and 500 yen for children from age 4 through elementary school. The private open-air bath can also be reserved for a day visit: 50 minutes for up to two people, 2,800 yen.

About
Chikuyo is a small ryokan with one indoor bath and one open-air bath each for men and women, swapped between night and morning so overnight guests get to try both. A private open-air bath can also be reserved for 50 minutes to yourselves, available to day visitors as well as overnight guests. Guests often describe the water here as smooth on the skin. The name Saginoyu comes from a local legend that a white heron once landed here to heal its wounds in the spring. With only seven guest rooms, the inn feels small and quiet, and it sits right beside the Adachi Museum of Art and its well-known garden.
