Day Use
YesOpen year-round, though the facility may close on days announced for maintenance on the official site. A separate morning bath and breakfast buffet course runs 7:00 to 9:30 (last entry 9:00), and the building is closed to new entries from 9:00 to 10:00 between that course and the regular day-use hours. Last entry for regular hours is 22:30.
Weekday admission is 750 yen for adults and 350 yen for children; on weekends and holidays it rises to 850 yen for adults, with children still 350 yen. A separate, higher-priced morning bath and breakfast buffet course is also available. Rental robe, towel and ganbanyoku mat are each an extra 250 yen when not part of a set course.

Sky Terme Shibukawa is a large day-use bathing complex on a hillside in Gunma, built around a main hot bath, a reclining bath kept lukewarm, a hinoki sauna and a cold plunge, plus an open-air bath with a wide view over the surrounding mountains. The rotenburo runs the source water straight into the tub without contact with air, and the water itself is mineral-rich and lightly alkaline, the kind locally known as good for the skin. Beyond the baths there are eight ganbanyoku (岩盤浴, heated rock sauna) chambers built with Fuji lava and Himalayan rock salt, a rest area with reclining chairs, a manga library and a restaurant, more a full day out than a quick soak.
