Spa & Resort Kujukuri Taiyo no Sato

This resort sits right on the Kujukuri coast, with a large indoor bathing hall and an open-air area with several tubs. Two of them, a cypress tub and a rock tub, are filled with natural hot-spring water from the local Chosei no Yu (長生の湯) source: the water runs dark brownish, alkaline, and smooth on the skin, with a sea breeze drifting through the open-air baths. There are two saunas, an infrared cabin and a salt sauna, plus a seven-room ganbanyoku hall (岩盤浴, rock-bath sauna) styled after the approach to Naritasan Shinshoji temple, one of the largest of its kind in Chiba. Alongside the baths, the resort runs several dining halls and multiple lodging buildings, with a rooftop pool overlooking the Kujukuri shore that opens in summer. It works both as an overnight stay and as a straightforward day-use spa trip from the coast.
