YesLast entry for day-use bathing is 22:00, two hours before the bath closes at midnight. The evening plan that pairs bathing with a buffet dinner keeps its own schedule, with dinner served 17:00 to 21:30, and it needs to be booked in advance.
The rate shown is the weekday adult bathing-only price. Weekends, holidays and peak days cost more, children under 3 bathe free, and towel rental is 330 yen extra. A separate plan pairs the bath with an evening buffet dinner for a higher price and needs advance reservation.

An open-air bath exists as well, though it sits close among trees rather than opening onto a view. This hot-spring hotel, part of the Ooedo Onsen Monogatari chain, sits on a hill above Awara Onsen. Breakfast and dinner are served buffet style, and there's a tennis court, karaoke rooms, and a small play corner for younger kids. In winter the hillside looks out over snow-covered Hokuriku scenery.
