Tsutaya Ryokan

Tsutaya Ryokan is a four-storey, old-fashioned inn a step from Iizaka Onsen station, at the entrance to the hot-spring town. The baths are indoors, with separate men's and women's sides that swap over, and the men's bath is the larger of the two. The water runs on the hot side, and there are a few wash stations and a free car park. Day-use bathing is also taken here, so local visitors drop in as well as overnight guests. The building shows its age, but reviewers praise the clean rooms and baths and the friendly, attentive staff.
