About
Ryujin no Yu (龍神の湯) is the onsen facility of Hotel Izukyu on the Shirahama coast of Shimoda. The outdoor bath draws from a spring that rises on the hotel grounds, while the indoor bath is fed from a separate source, so you soak in two distinct waters in one visit. A small shrine on the property marks the spring source, which still flows today. Private reserved baths are also available.
