YesBathing hours run 10:00-22:30 (last entry 21:30) from May through October, and 11:00-21:30 (last entry 21:00) from November through April. Over the New Year period (December 31 to January 3) hours are 11:00-18:00, last entry 17:30. There is no fixed weekly closing day, but the bath does close occasionally for maintenance.
Adults pay 800 yen and children 400 yen. Residents of Kamikawa town get a discounted resident rate on presenting ID.

Kurodake no Yu is a day-use bathhouse run by the town of Kamikawa, opened in 1998 as a gathering spot for visitors to Sounkyo Gorge. The bath is split across two floors: an open-air tub and a sauna upstairs look out over the gorge, which changes with the seasons, while a large indoor bath and washing area sit below. The water is clear and gentle on the skin. Bathing is gender-separated, and the place sees a steady stream of hikers and Kurodake ropeway visitors passing through Sounkyo.
