Ito Hotel Juraku sits on a hill above the town, drawing on seven of its own hot-spring wells. The open-air bath, Gensen (げんせん), on the third floor, is kept flowing fresh, with a fixed side each for men and women. Two indoor baths one floor down, Yuruka no Yu (ゆるかの湯) and Yanmo no Yu (やんもの湯), swap between men and women through the day; both have a sauna and a cold plunge, and Yanmo no Yu also has a lying-down bath and a waterfall shower. A foot bath and a hand bath on the garden terrace run on the same spring water and are open even before check-in. Every guest room's own tub is filled with the hotel's onsen water, and a few higher-floor room categories add a private open-air tub as well. Every room looks out to the sea from the hillside, and the town's lights spread out below by night. Regulars come back mostly for the buffet dinners, built around fresh local seafood.
