Furukawa Onsen Yura

A small day-use bathhouse in Matsuyama's Dogo Onsen area, with a large indoor bath, an open-air bath and a sauna. The water is real onsen water, pumped up from around 1,000 meters below ground rather than anything fancy. Shampoo and body soap are provided at the sink, and towels can be bought from a vending machine. It's a plain, everyday kind of bathhouse favored by locals more than sightseers, the sort of place people drop into for an unpretentious soak rather than a show. It rarely gets crowded, and parking is ample.
