An almost perfect hotel with a ryokan-like atmosphere... very beautiful inside and outside, the mattress is extremely comfortable, delicious food, and an "egg-like" kakenagashi onsen... everything seems perfect, but the kakenagashi is only in words; in reality, 50% of the water is tap water with quite a lot of chlorine... perhaps guests complained about the smell in the hotel, since after sulfur baths the skin smells like eggs for several days - probably that's why they reduced it... and now the skin smells like chlorine 💔❤️‍🩹 Mizuburo (water bath), sauna, rotenburo (outdoor bath), and indoor bath. It's quite dark inside, especially in the evening when it's almost dark. The room has a bath with a view of the lake, but with tap water. I highly recommend it as a hotel, but as an onsen - it's sad to soak in chlorinated water for such a price...
