About

A resort inn in Nakanosawa onsen, run by the Takamiya group. There are two sets of large baths, Kawasemi-no-yu (かわせみの湯) and Yamasemi-no-yu (やませみの湯), swapped between men and women, each with an indoor bath, an open-air bath and a dry sauna. The Kawasemi open-air bath looks onto woods and a small stream. The water is milky and sulfurous, and reviewers say it leaves the skin smooth. There are also private baths (kashikiri, 貸切風呂), which day visitors can use, and one room type with its own semi-open-air bath filled from the spring. Day-use bathing (higaeri nyuyoku, 日帰り入浴) is available, though busy days may be turned away. Parking is free.
